Just defended my dissertation entitled "Evolutionary genomics of piRNA mediated transposon silencing in Drosophila" at the University of Rochester, NY. Thanks to my awesome thesis committee (from L to R) Drs. Justin Blumenstiel, Daven Presgraves, Dirk Bohmann, Thomas Eickbush, and Daniel Garrigan.
